That's not really that complicated.

Trader lady is really pretty. ^^; Also, Xira you are actually quite a good liar. He looked directly at Tareth after doing something super sneaky. I'm getting the impression that he has done these kind of things often.

No, that is the freaky part. He did not lie at all. He "made sure that she won't be scared of Jonan." And that he has done. Means and ways were not discussed. 8|

On a mostly unrelated note: Won't the lady be able to connect "mouth sealed shut" spell to "that happened to me[or someone I know] too" to "Jonan" to "this guy right here" to "get the heck out!!!"??? Ah, we will have to wait to find out.

Also, the room looks super comfy. So Shazzbaa, if you are still regretting all the tapestry and markings - find consolation in the fact that it looks great and homely (and you can only blame the English language for making "homely" a bad word instead of a compliment like any sane language would. Honestly what is bad if something reminds you of a home???)

Well, specifically regarding the last paragraph-- the word you're looking for in English is actually "homey," (which is not a GREAT word either, aesthetically). Homely is the insulting one, but "homey" refers to something that is comfortable or has the qualities of a home. :)

(ENGLISH IS OCCASIONALLY REALLY STUPID. I love it dearly, but it definitely has issues. It's like a younger sibling in that way.)

Actually, in British English, "homely" is a good thing, it means "cozy and comfortable."

Aye, and I've heard it used to refer to people the same way as "comely". As in, gently pretty. Sort of girl-next-door type of thing.

HUH. You learn something new every day...

Man, I really think Shaw put it best--- Britain and America really are two nations separated by a common language. 8T

Different regions of England have the same problem, mate. I can't understand people with Yorkshire dialects for the life of me, and I'm a Geordie.

Well, if Xira made sure that did a good job of locking up all of her memories of Jonan, then it shouldn't be too big of a problem. Of course, she might get suspicious when she can't remember how it happened to her. If she remembers that it happened to her.
