Erm, Sev, may I remind you that according to the cast page Jonan is only 29 years old? Technically, he's younger than Esra (whom we haven't seen much of recently, but I honestly thought he was in his early 20s until I read the cast page . . . Really, I'd be completely wrong about many things without the guiding wonder that is the cast page!). Good thing Jonan doesn't easily take offense at that sort of thing . . . or at least is too smart to take offense when it means the difference between a comfy bed and the hard floor!

Also, Sev, yes indeed there are probably better ways (than setting them on fire) to handle most problems.

Sev gets extra points, though for offering the comfy beds to other people, and for deciding that sleep is more important than being freaked out by the haunted inn. (Truth is, if I could only pick one RW character to spend a day with, I would almost certainly pick Sev, heh.)

omg that last statement is wonderful, I'm so glad, IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE AN EXCITING DAY IF NOTHING ELSE xD

(I will point out, though, that Jonan definitely does not look 29! Sev would have no reason to believe Jonan's that young)

I have been wondering why Jonan looks so much older than his years, even allowing for the effect of dehydration. Magic using him up? Rarlier Miscast of his own? Using magic to make himself look older as he had a really cute baby face? Also, hopefully he will be able to get a recharge easier here.

Jonan may be "only" 29, but he's easily the oldest member of the group. He's more than twice Æmber's age, almost twice as old as Xira, and half again Sev's age. When have people ever needed more of a gap than that to kid someone about their age?
